nakakairitang marinig ang tugtog na nagmumula sa telebisyon. kahit minsan sa isang linggo ko na lamang masilayan ito, hindi ko pa rin maatim na may mga sumasayaw ditong hindi sabay-sabay saliw ang nakakainis na tugtuging hindi mo malaman kung saang club nanggaling. para sa impormasyon ng lahat, ang pangalan ng grupong ito ay.. tantananan! gatsby dancers!! yehey. bakit kaya gatsby? dahil kaya kasintigas ng mga katawan nila ang buhok ng taong gumamit ng nasabing gel? hm. esep-esep.
wow. isang linggo na naman ang nakalipas. sorry kung hindi ako nakapagupdate last week. tinamad na naman ako eh. nakakatamad magtype. hahahaha. joke. ewan. wala lang time. dami ko pa ngang gagawin ngayon dapat eh tinatamad ako. kaya ito nalang. kaya kwentuhan na tayo. game? game.
una sa lahat, super enjoy ng freshteeeeg! concert. talagang freshteeeeeeg! ang saya. ang gwapo pa ni champ. dumayo pa dun si vincent na isang frustrated up student. hahaha peace tayo vincent

hmm. masaya naman. [haha, ang baduy ko no.] pero masaya naman xa talaga. we experienced our very first LIVE UAAP opening and game several hours ago.. hahaha.. and what can i say? ang saya. pramis. go UP! nanalo tayo! wahoo! akalain mo ba naman, tambak ba naman.. masaya na kami at nakakashoot sila eh.. nakatie pa.. tas nakalamang ng isa.. tas tambak na naman [umabot ng 9 points ung lamang! haha!] hanggang sa last two minutes na. 57-64. nawawalan na kami ng pag-asa. hala cge, cheer parin. less than two minutes nalang. nakathree points si abby santos. and the rest was history. we won! sana this would mean that up will have a GREAT season this year.. ahaha.. sige na naman, sayang naman ang feel na feel na cheers natin. naka 69-66 naman tayo kanina. kaya pa yan. in fairness, nagkamuscle ata ako sa haba ng up naming mahal. haha. yahoo! u-nibersidad ng PIliPInas! u-nibersidad ng PIliPInas! matatapang! matatalino! walang takot! kahit kanino! hinding-hindi magpapahuli! ganyan kaming mga taga-UP!!! hey, hey UP go Up fight! hey, hey UP go, UP fight!!! m-a-r-o-o-n-s! fighting maroons! go fight! go win! go fight! fighting maroons! let's go UP!! haha. natuwa? hangover eh. hahaha. ang galing-galing nina nestor david, abby santos [player of the game! wee!] at marvin cruz. haha. wee.

first long exam sa math last last friday. wow. ang saya ko. hahaha! nakapasa naman. pero.. haha. let's not talk about it. hahaha! ang saya talaga ng prof ko, oo.. wahahaha.. 
hay, tapos na yun. hahaha. life doesn't end there. first long exam lang un! hahaha! pinasaya ang sarili eh no? hmm..
hmm.. regarding the gloriagate issue by the way.. [shan wants me to have my say on this, dahil taga-UP daw ako. kailangan daw. wahahaha] hmm.. what can i say... well.. i think that gloria did cheat in the elections. why? hmm, one thing: the tapes. okay, so maybe it's not that enough evidence but what can you infer from those conversations? what else could they be talking about? [i love that ringtone by the way.. 'hello, hello garci?' ] plus the public apology. 'i am sorry', God, could she be more guilty? even garcillano can't have the guts to face the public! diba? but despite my belief that gloria did cheat, i still don't support their 'oust gloria' movement. why? well, hello, if not gloria, who? who else could be there to 'save' our country? honestly speaking, gloria is the best choice so far. okay, let's say that she did cheat her way into her current position but, don't you think that's a good thing? ika nga, 'choose the lesser evil'. diba? just imagine, what if FPJ [rest his soul] DID win, where do you think the Philippines will be right now? what could have happened to us? if you think we're worst right now, what more if someone like FPJ became our president? is there such a word as 'worster'? just imagine that. we should be thankful that she did cheat. and besides, FPJ did die, sino papalit? si noli parin? o, what more! grabe. i can't say that i'm pro-gloria though.. i'm just anti-noli really. anyway, if gma didn't cheat, noli wouldn't probably have won. so maybe loren would have been a better choice. okay so she's a bit too political minded but, she IS more experienced than de castro who is just some news 'reader'. some say he can't even speak well in english. ha! same goes with lito lapid, i remember. goodness, he even needs a translator to translate the speeches in the senate! *sigh* this is Philippine politics. haha. more like show business to me. [tignan mo nga, kala ko pa naman may mangyayari ngayon kasi todo-todo ang mga happenings kahapon, tas wala naman. hm.]
but come to think of it, we are mocking these illiterate government officials when we, ourselves, the people, the masses, are more or less illiterate as well. i was told that 60-80% of all voters are illiterate people. how can these people vote well when they don't even understand what's happening? they say some even don't know what a president's role is. o, how can we grow if we are like this? diba? since they are neither well-educated nor well-informed, what are they to do? the obvious: vote for the person they know. who are.. the famous people. the actors and actresses who enter politics. those who seem to be bored with their showbiz lives and suddenly woke up on the wrong side of the bed and said 'aaaah. ang baduy ng buhay ko. magsenador nalang kaya ako. tutal marami naman akong pera. tama. may pangkampanya na ako. may panuhol narin ako. yehey! cge! bukas na bukas, magsusubmit na ko ng application for candidacy!' haaay.. nakakalungkot isipin na nagkaganito na ang Pilipinas ngayon. may magagawa ba tayo? hmm.. sa totoo lang, wala masyado. cliched as it is pero as students, the only solution is to study hard. to study well. kasi in my opinion, education is the only answer. people need to be educated. people need to be informed. because as i see it, that's the best way.. that's the only logical way. diba? when the time comes that everybody is well-educated and well-informed, maybe we'll have a better Philippines. right. i hope that day will come. kaya dagdagan ang pondo ng UP! [haha! nagpakaaktibista?] de, seryoso, the government should fund the government-run schools well, so that all of us can be assured of quality education. kailangang-kailangan natin yan ngayon. as in.
on the other hand, don't you think we should be more open-minded about these people who can't speak good english? especially these government officials? i mean, we ARE in the Philippines. shouldn't we be using our own language? yeah, we should. but don't you think it's quite hard? the problem is we've been colonialized for a long time. para bang nakakabit na tayo talaga ideyalismong yan. parang kakamabal na siya ng Pilipinas. sa simula palang kasi diba.. atsaka ang hirap gamitin ng filipino sa math no! haha.. at sa science.. pati sa mga batas batas.. aminin nating minsa'y mas madaling intindihin kapag ingles yung ibang mga terminolohiya. diba? so san ako patungo sa argumentong ito? wala. haha. let's just be open-minded. at sana maging mas balanse ang pagtuturo ng ingles at filipino sa eskwelahan. nakakahiya namang mga Pilipino tayo tapos pasang-awa lang o bagsak pa tayo sa asignatura ng sarili nating lenggwahe - inaamin ko, kahit ako'y mas hirap dito kumpara sa ingles. kaya yun. let's go UP. [haha, anu daw? hangover?]

the cheers of the UP pep squad (and our own as well) are still resounding in my head... the heart pounding drumbeats and the catchy (albeit very VERY mayabang) cheers. it seems quite proud to me that the last two entries of my blog carry my school name. well, probably because i'm having this HUGE hangover due to the overwhelming UP winning streak. heck, we're leading in the standings! 3-0! we won over NU kanina. yey. kaso sa tv lang ako nakanood... i have a lot to finish pa kasi... dang. iba pa naman talaga pag live! [now i know why there are alot of addicts to this game. lalo na pag nananalo. haha.] we even can't quite take in yet our win over the lasalle green archers. wow. seryoso ba kayo? ahahaha. maybe the fighting maroons is finally gearing up to fight. again. according to sources, up hasn't gotten hands on the trophy since 1986... and hasn't been in the final four for quite some time now... kaya nga nashock kami. at lalo pang naeengganyong mag-aattend ng mga games. wahahaha yahoong-yahoo talaga. let's go UP! [ahahaha, mayee mayee mayee...

i just hope the fighting maroons will be able to maintain their winning streak. magtuloy-tuloy na sana 'to. ahehehe [oh c'mon. we all wish. haha ]

i was reading chalk magazine a while ago [ung uaap special] and i found out that jai reyes is in the same course that i would have been in if i studied in ateneo. walalang. hehehe. ang cute pa naman niya. maia, say 'hi' to him for me nalang. hahahahaha!
haynako, tama na nga yan. naloloka na naman ako eh. maxado akong nahi-high sa mga nangyayari sa buhay up. hahaha kawindang-windang na buhay ito. hmm.
ah! yes... i remember, i was able to watch this musical play in up, 'st.louis loves dem filipinos'... ever heard? it was made by floy quintos... hehe.. brilliant play. it was nice, and amusing. informative at the same time. although i couldn't quite decide if it was anti-american or pro-american. hmm. pero ok naman xa. hehe. sinamahan ko lang kasi manood si mara kasi required xa manood... hmmm... oh and of course, there was this guy... [ahahaha! 'of course' eh no?] you see, mara and i were standing at the back of the wilfrido ma. guerrero theater [why does it have to be 'wilfrido'??] because there were insufficient seats to accommodate all the viewers [which really irritated me. ano ba yan, bat kayo nagbenta ng pagkadami-daming ticket kung hindi naman pala magkakasya sa teatro? lintik, ang dami pa ngang natira sa labas eh.. pano na sila? up shouldn't have sold as much tickets. binilang dapat ng husto. nakakangalay kaya tumayo ng 2hours and 47 mins!!!]. well anyway, so we were standing at the back [which i shall consider a blessing later on] and we were advised to make way for the passage of the actors. because the ushers told us that the actors would be coming from the back in one scene... so there we were, watching the play... and then i noticed this guy on stage. lintik, my beatrice was onstage! tall... dark... handsome... chinito pa... may tindig... at magaling magsalita! he delivered his short yet kilig-inducing line. 'marvelous!' he said. waaaah. may british accent pa. 'how barbaric!' ack. kilig. ang gwapo ng boses. lintek. [hahaha, oa ko no?] tapos much to my surprise, dumaan siya sa harap namin ni mara nung next scene! at i tell you, he smelled good. [bwahahaha! marami nawirdohan sa comment kong yan, kala nila hinarass ko kaya ko naamoy.] pero yun. waw. grabe. i'm in love. [hahaha! para makaiwas sa bizarre love triangles, naghanap ako ng bagong papa, and i succeeded! meron nakong isstalk! - once i find him. haha!] kaya bumili kami ni mara ng program worth 50pesos. para lang mahanap ang pagmumuka niya at makilala xa [actually, ako lang.] si arkel. 2nd year theater arts student. up diliman. wah. hindi naman niya cguro mababasa to diba? hahahaha. gaga ko talaga. [ooooh, i am criticizing myself! meta-cognition mayee, meta-cognition!!! acuña!!! philo 1!!!]
'ngayon alam ko na kung sang course ka magshishift next year!' - linya nila sakin. bwahahahaha!

it's funny that majority of the content of my entry for this week is about the male specie. heehee. iba na talaga pag boy scout! heehee. enough about this na nga! [yuck, konyo!!!] there are many things better left unsaid [tulad ng mga ganito dahil nagmumuka akong gaga] and there are many things i am to do [like my english assignment] kaya... magkekwento pa ko. it's a thursday and i don't have classes. supposedly, i have 2 classes today. parehong panghapon. 1pm. at ang swerte swerte ko today. suspended daw ang classes sa up today starting 1pm! dahil may memo daw at magkakaron daw ng talk ang UP president. sabi nga ni mommy, eh di kausapin ko. hahaha. ayoko nga. ay nako. ano ba 'to. kaya eto, andito ako sa worldnet, nag-iinternet. mag-isa. kawawa. hahaha. dahil wala akong gagawin. tinatamad akong mag-aral kahit dapat nag-aaral ako kasi baka may long quiz kami sa math bukas. hmm. swerte nga eh, ngayon kasi dapat un, eh nasuspend nga ang klase, kaya yun.
kahapon, nagcampus tour ang fourth year. nakakatawa, nakakatuwa, nagkita-kita kami. yey. i miss you guys already. i miss high school. i miss manresa. hay. pero ok lang, laf3p si sir mike. hahaha! hasn't changed a bit. andun din sila sr.mae.. at ms. aus [sayang wala si mrs.faller! may sakit daw kasi!] at andun din si mrs.goitia. hahaha. and above all, andun sila chim! yey! miss ko na kayo! yehey yehey yehey! nakita ko ulit si bunsoy [hoy, you've grown! haha!], plus sina izrael, at maricar at marie, at lahat na. nakakamiss talaga. gusto ko bumalik ng manre. hmm.
speaking of highschool, i am currently surrounded by highschool boys. yes. ateneo high boys. grabe. hahaha. as maia calls it, 'child abuse'.
and dang. ang ingay nila. hahaha. naglalaro kasi sila. hahaha! but it's okay, they're not as loud as other people who play games. mejo ok naman. and what can i expect, they're just high school. sabi nga nila, ateneo high boys are one of the most gentlemanly boys/men you can ever find. kaya pag sa college... haha. you know what i'm implying. tapos meron pa palang guy, nakakatawa, 'nevermore' nang 'nevermore'.. ano to, the raven?
